    Description

    Handsome fold-out 1972 Esso road map of Canada's Atlantic provinces — New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland, and Nova Scotia, printed more than 48 years ago.
    This map opens to 24" x 34" and has great detail on old highway alignments, with cartography by the General Drafting Company.
    There are insets of various cities, including Fredericton, Moncton, Saint John, Charlottetown, Sydney, St. John's, and Halifax, along with a list of principal ferry connections.
    The map was distributed by Imperial Oil Limited to promote its Esso brand and is dated 1972 in the legend. It was printed in Canada, and the cover design is by Bob Torrans. The code number on the back panel is RP1271.
