IN THE 1980’S, PLAYTIME PRODUCED TWO PORTABLE RECORD PLAYERS WITH A SESAME STREET THEME. BOTH SAY “PLAYTIME” ON THE FRONT EDGE OF THE BOX.
THE FIRST, FROM 1981, WAS BLUE AND HAD A DECAL ON BOTH THE OUTSIDE AND INSIDE COVER WHICH SHOWED BIG BIRD, OSCAR THE GROUCH, COOKIE MONSTER, AND GROVER.
THE SECOND (THIS ONE) WAS THE RARE YELLOW, WITH A DECAL SHOWING BERT HOLDING A RECORD AND ERNIE HOLDING A MICROPHONE. THIS ONE HAD A MICROPHONE INPUT JACK AND MORE SPEEDS. THIS ONE RARELY SHOWS UP IN THE MARKET PLACE.
