    Description

Antique Plaza Music Pal Junior Wind-Up Record Player, w/Records! Free Shipping!
Here we have an antique, hand-crank record player. This is meant to play 78s; I'm not sure if it could accommodate other record sizes. The crank, which must be inserted carefully to engage, does work. After winding the platter does spin, though the weight of the needle/arm stopped the spinning. I suspect that this is because I did not wind it enough, but I did not want to damage the mechanism by winding it too much. This is all the testing that we've done on this particular unit.
This also includes spare needles (which live in a convenient, lidded metal cup in the player itself; please see photos), and records!
The records (listed by Brand/Song/Artist) are:
Perfect - Humpty Dumpty Baby (The Whoppee Makers)/Happy Feet (Cab Calloway & His Orchestra)
Oriole Electric Record - Shine On, Harvest Moon (Roy Smeck's Vita Trio)/Stardust (Roy Smeck's Vita Trio)
Oriole Electric Record - Just Friends (Morton Downey)/Save The Last Dance For Me (Morton Downey)
Oriole Electric Record - She Was Bred In Old Kentucky (Carson Robison Trio)/They Cut Down The Old Pine Tree (Carson Robison Trio)
Oriole Electric Record - A Faded Summer Love (Gene Austin)/Goodnight Sweetheart (Gene Austin)
Oriole Electric Record - One Day In May (Dick Robertson & His Orchestra)/Three Guesses (Dick Robertson & His Orchestra)
Q.R.S. - Beside An Open Fireplace (Tommy Weir)/In My Sweetheart's Arms (Tommy Weir)
Q.R.S. - Waiting Through The Night (Tommy Weir)/A Song Without A Name (Tommy Wier)
Q.R.S. - Crying For The Carolines (Dale Wimbrow)/My Pretty Girl (Lloyd Marvin)
Please note that these records are all old and do bear various scratches and marks. We have not tested these. They were included in the player itself, inside a compartment in the lid with a snap enclosure; please see photos.
Shipping will be via either USPS Priority Mail or Federal Express, whichever is more cost-effective.
