Byonic black steel for size 263 Lightspeed Edge holders. Skates were used for two stick and puck sessions and are in good shape. They show some surface scratches, but no damage. This steel has a black carbon coating (similar to Step Steel black) that keeps your edges lasting longer and increasing life. They are currently profiled to 9/10' (stock profile) and sharpened to 100/50 Flat Bottom V, but can be resharpened to any regular hollow upon request at no extra charge. They can also be re-profiled for an additional (9', 10', 11', and 13' available.) All work is done professionally.
This is some of the highest quality aftermarket steel on the market, up there with Step Steel and Tydan in my opinion. I've used pretty much every aftermarket and Bauer steel on the market and these are very light and responsive. They are shorter than Step Steel, so great for guys who like shorter steel without resorting to LS2 or poor quality stock steel. They are very easy to sharpen and profile and hold an edge very nicely. Only selling these because I have two other sets of steel that I prefer and this set doesn't hit the rotation as much. I'd like to sell them a to a new home for a great price.
These retail for 0 online new, plus an additional for sharpening and profiling, so save a ton here! They do not come with the original sleeve, but will be packaged in a cardboard envelope with the edges covered. Make sure your sharpener does not use a stone on these, as it will ruin the coating. Only hone with a leather strip or cloth - not included. An old belt or scrap piece of leather from your local fabric store or cobbler will work great.
