Custom Oil Painting of Home From Photo, Oil on Canvas

Description

This listing is for a single custom painting of a house using oil paint on a 16"x20" canvas.  Great gift for a real estate closing, or for anyone who loves their home. Just send me a photo, and I can paint it as is, or I can slightly modify the perspective, or dress up the landscape a bit, whatever you have in mind.   All photos in this listing are examples of my own work, and what you should expect your painting to look like.

I am a Chicago artist, with 15 years experience painting since my graduation from the Illinois Institute of Art, Chicago.  I love to study the techniques of color and light. Some of the well known artists who inspire my work are Raphael, Titian, Botticelli, Bellini, Jon Van Eyck, Caravaggio , Francisco Goya, J.M.W. Turner, Caspar David Friedrich, and William Blake.
Process:
First you will submit a photo of the house. Please let me know if there are any modifications to the photo (i.e. adding landscaping, removing landscaping, adding in a more picturesque sky, etc...) Once that is discussed I will begin the painting.  After the painting is finished, I will submit a photo to you.  You will have an opportunity to look over the painting and make any notes of minor changes. If any changes are needed, I will make them, and ship the painting.
