OK this is a pretty cool looking flashlight.  I cannot seem to find the year it was manufactured, but it is at least from the early 60s because I distinctly remember it is the same flashlight my mom used to check under my bed for monsters when I was a kid.  It originally had a metal loop on the battery end of the flashlight because we used to hang it on a hook in the kitchen and now the loop is gone. It has a chrome finish.  The battery end has a cap that unscrews and the cap has the Eveready name embossed on it.  It takes 3 D batteries, which I'll throw in for free.  The handle has a switch to turn it on and off, as well as a button on the switch, which allows you to turn the flashlight on by just pressing on the button.  It turns off when you release the button. It has no rust or blemishes and works fine.  I will say that it is probably about time to replace the bulb, which would not surprise me if it was the original bulb.  It kept the monsters away for my entire childhood.
