This Busy Bee Disc phonograph is absolutely gorgeous. The wooden case is in really nice condition with a nice and bright Busy Bee logo. The reproducer is in good shape also.
When you crank the motor, resistance is felt but as soon as you let go of the crank it unwinds. Most likely the ratchet is stuck or needs repair.
I will pack these items carefully and securely in two boxes for shipment.
