This is a boot stretcher that I used to stretch boots and youth hockey skates in my shop. I just upgraded so I no longer need this model. It is a small compact version with a wood block attached to it for extra height/leverage. You can attach it to your work bench by drilling underneath into the block. There are some paint chips and signs of wear, but the unit is fully functional. Original cost was 0.
    PLEASE READ:
This device can stretch skates up to 1/2 size in length and one size in width such as D to E. This will NOT accept senior sized or larger junior sized skates. It will only accept smaller boots and youth/small junior skates up to size 3 or so. It comes with two attachments.
    WARNING:
Skate stretching is permanent and can damage skates if not used properly. There are many videos on YouTube showing how to heat up your skates and use a skate stretching device. Skates need to be left on the stretcher 24 hours to achieve the full effect.
This is a good option for a small shop, ice rink, youth team, or family of young skaters. Anyone with kids knows how fussy they can be with skates. Get extra life out of your kid's skates by stretching them as soon as they start to outgrow them and hold off from buying new ones. Stretched skates can last anywhere from a few months to nearly a year depending on how fast they grow. You can also use these for kid's shoes, sneakers, boots, etc.
