Nikon EP-5A Power Connector
Nikon EP-5A power connector lets you power selected Nikon DSLR and COOLPIX cameras from Nikon EH-5d, EH-5b, EH-5a or EH-5 AC adapter and that way save battery power. This connector will come in handy when the camera is being used indoors for extended periods use such as for studio sessions, when uploading files to a PC, or when playing back media on a TV.
Simply insert the EP-5A into the battery chamber, powering the camera by continuous AC power instead of Nikon EN-EL14 or EN-EL14a rechargeable battery.
Nikon EP-5A is required when using Nikon EH-5d, EH-5b, EH-5a or EH-5 AC adapter to power the camera. Nikon EP-5A is compatible with the following Nikon cameras:
