12 SELECTION, SELECTABLE, RESTACKING JUKEBOX
45 RPM RECORD PLAYER/PHONOGRAPH
IN "AS-FOUND" CONDITION.
I found this and other Ristaucrat machines at an estate sale.
I think this unit can still be nicely restored. It definitely has potential.
The outside wooden case looks very rough.  It is literally just falling apart.  But, I think with some talent and TLC, it could be reassembled and refinished.
It could definitely use some finishing nails and a lot of wood glue.  I've even seen the outside of these cabinets painted by restorers, and they looked really good.
The mechanism seems like it is still intact. I pushed the selector buttons, they engage, and the cancel button releases them all.  I have not looked inside at the mechanism.
The Hard-To-Find PLASTIC COVER is in place, and is in good usable condition. There is some minor damage on the upper right hand corner.  It will still display well (see photo).
The cash drawer is present. There are no keys.
The hard-to-find plastic color face plate is present, but the lower right corner is cracked.
The coin return mechanism is loose, but present and included.
The original tubes look to be in place.
I have not opened it up, nor have I even plugged it in. It is untested. I have read that these Ristaucrat machines should not be turned on, or plugged in until they have been examined first.
Sorry if the shipping seems high, but this machine is VERY HEAVY.
