Description
Manufactured in 1924 and still works! This Eveready flashlight belonged to one of my grandparents who owned a hardware store. It uses 2 C batteries and the lamp shines dimmer than it did when it was new.The thick glass cover has a crack in the very middle of it (seemingly glued together), and there are 2-3 little pieces missing so that if you rub your finger on the dome top you feel it (but it's smooth not jagged).
The flashlight measures almost 5.5" in length and the thickness is about 1.25". The push button can either pulse on or be pressed and moved up to lock in the "on" position.
As it is almost 100 years old, there are marks on the casing and dents on the top piece. Both ends unscrew. There is no rust.
