This turntable comes from the stock of a radio repair man.
The turntable has been sitting unused for many years.
THIS SALE IS FOR REPAIR OR PARTS.
I have tried to give a fair assessment of mechanical function and visual shape of the turntable.
TURNTABLE may need service and adjustmnet for proper function, and certain items, like idler wheel or cartridge may need replacement
Rare example of a VOICE OF MUSIC Record Changer Model 1210 B374 with a General Industries 4 Pole Motor and removable headshell for use with General Electrics GE VR RPX or VR II Cartridge. Rare example of a VoM changer with a muting switch
Classic early model with acrylic etched front panel, red bakelite knobs and gray hammertone arms, red removable headshell
16/33/45/78 rpm changer changer is in nice condition and mech is working, but has a few small distractions
NO CARTRIDGE NO BASE OR PLINTH, power cord has been replaced, mono output ends in a mini mono microphone jack
Visuallly in great shape, rubber mat and flexible, no cracks or hardness, could use a cleaning, 7” sensor has the rubber tip, hammertone arm and overarm in great shape, tiny piece of masking tape on the tonearm. Knobs close to perfect, acrylic panel great no scratches or pitting, just some light scuffs from use. HOWEVER: cream chassis paint has some pitting, especially under the tone arm.
Motor runs great and quiete, on speed. Idler while has flexible rubber, no flat spots, but a small defect on the upper rubber wheel, good torque, light swishy noise at 33, becomes somewhat noisy and slight thumping at 45 and 78
    Cam wheel is almost frozen:
Mechanism runs through all the motions smoothly but with great resistance,  7 10 12” indexing works nicely, shutoff works, however cam wheel is sluggish to move, and does not quite finish the cycle. Cleaning of old grease and relubing will fix this problem
    11 1/8x13 ¼” , about 3” deep, 4.5” high
All items will be safely packed to avoid any damage and promptly shipped.
